Play Therapy Services
Individual Play Therapy sessions for children from age 2½ to 10-11 years old. Sessions are held weekly in a special playroom but can be held in other surroundings if needed.
Parents/caregivers are an essential part of their child’s therapeutic process and are kept up-to-date with their child's overall progress in regular scheduled meetings. Support is given in parenting and in strengthening their parent/child relationship.
Play Therapy with siblings and small groups (2-3) of children may be offered in order to help with their emotional and social development.
Filial Therapy (Child Parent Relationship Therapy). A separate process to help strengthen the relationship between parent/caregiver and child. This may be offered on its own or towards the end of their child’s Play
Consultation with parents/caregivers alongside their child’s Play Therapy process and consultation
with other professionals.
