Fancrest Estate Pinot Noir is made in a traditional style from organically grown grapes. Natural primary and secondary fermentation is followed by gentle basket pressing, 11 months in small French oak barriques and a further 18 months of cellaring. Fancrest Estate Pinot Noir is handled gently from the outset. The fruit is hand picked and experiences minimal intervention. This is a wine to be enjoyed slowly to fully appreciate the slow unfolding of layers of red and black berry fruit, spice, leather and a hint of red rose petals and violets.
