Infrastructure Management – Forecasting the Changes to 2030

By: Inframanage Ltd  16-Sep-2013

Infrastructure Management – Forecasting the Changes to 2030 New Zealand’s infrastructure management practice has grown and developed over the past two decades. The November 2012 NAMS Forum concluded that the development of practice had plateaued, and that fresh direction and emphasis was needed. Multiple trends continue to impact our communities, their requirement for services, and subsequently the infrastructure and assets that are required to provide these services. These trends will be summarized and then used to forecast changes that will be required in infrastructure management through to 2030. The forecast will be developed to provide infrastructure custodians and managers with thought provoking challenges, opportunities and guidance as to the pathways forward.
