When I began the course I was rather sceptical about the extent that it could help me. I had looked for many sources of help and places for solutions. I had long-term anxiety problems and depression, I was over-weight and had high blood pressure. My constantly gasped mantra was “don’t panic, don’t panic” and “I’m keeping the panics at bay”.
Within a few days of beginning the course and the initial relaxation exercises, I began to feel as if my breathing was changing and I could feel that things were changing for me. I was beginning to feel that I had a measure of control over my life.
As the course progressed, I knew that I had begun a journey and that change was possible. The most important thing I did that made the changes possible was to build in the time to listen to the cds and to have them set up in such a way that I could easily turn the recording on. Each morning as I woke up I listened to one recording and when I came home from work, I listened to another.
