Richmond New Zealand Trust Ltd provides a wide range of service options designed in the main for individuals with high and complex support requirements. The basis of our work is to deliver quality services that empower and support clients to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Services are provided in various locations around New Zealand and include supported accommodation, community (home) based services, supported employment, services for people with an intellectual disability and mental illness, and specialist services for people who are deaf and experience mental illness. Services include the following:
Mobile Community Support Services
Provide a range of support options in a client’s home to facilitate the development of life skills and achievement of client goals.
Supported Accommodation Services
Support services for clients living in a residential setting as part of their recovery.
Provide support for young people who have a mental health diagnosis, or who require care, protection and support.
Intellectual Disability Support Services
Provide supports to people who have an intellectual disability. The services are designed to help clients learn new skills and participate meaningfully in the community.
Deaf Mental Health Services
Support people who have a mental health diagnosis and are deaf or hearing impaired. The service supports clients with a recovery focused approach to help them reach their goals.
Multi Systemic Therapy Service
Is a community based programme designed to help young people and their families manage very challenging behaviours.
Specialist Support Services
Is for children, young people, their families, whānau and/or caregivers who are affected by a mental health or disability issue and is delivered in partnership with the Department of Child, Youth and Family
Supported Employment Services
Support clients to develop skills, look for, find and retain work and meaningfully participate in their communities.
Supported Landlord Service
Supports clients with recognised mental health issues who need assistance to maintain housing by providing flexible, community based, affordable, furnished or unfurnished accommodation.
Supported Living Services
Are delivered under contract to the Accident Compensation Corporation and enable individualised support for clients with complex and/or challenging needs and/or physical disabilities.
Family and Whānau Services
Provide support, education and information for family and whānau where a family member experiences mental health issues.
Peer Led Activity Services
Support clients’ recovery, the development of life skills, and community and social support systems.
