Chaplaincy Services, the Trust has a visiting chaplain. Supervision for Residents in Daily Living Activities. Day to Day management of money if required. Recreation programmes both on and off site. If unable to be done by resident.

Services such as dentists, counsellors, religious ministries, opticians, audiologists, hairdressers, solicitors. Costs Which are the Responsibility of Individual Residents or Other Agencies. These are provided by Nurse Maude Continence Services. Private telephone and electrical equipment. Newspapers if required on individual basis. Special mobility equipment and aides.

Respite/Carer Support is provided to people over 17 years of age.We cannot provide a residential or respite service to those with primarily an intellectual or psychiatric impairment, those with significant medical, behavioural issues or those who have a drug or alcohol dependency.

The Laura Fergusson Trust Canterbury is an independent not-for-profit service organisation working 24/7 to enhance the lives of people who face barriers to inclusion, involvement and independence on the basis of impairment. Based in Canterbury at 279 Ilam Road, Christchurch, we have strong links with other Laura Fergusson Trusts elsewhere in New Zealand but operate independently of them.
