Because Health and Disability providers put a lot of time, effort and resources to meet or exceed relevant quality standards for certification or accreditation HDANZ has been searching for ways to help. onTrack is the result and it has been developed from our experience and practical knowledge of a wide range of specialist health and disability audit and certification programmes.

onTrack, a new and innovative quality support tool, is specifically designed software that is securely hosted from HDANZ’s web-site. The key benefits of the onTrack web-based software are that this system is based on a philosophy of "Continuous Quality Improvement", is easy to use, saves time and complements your own internal audit/review and CQI processes.

Aims

onTrack is set out so that you operate the programme by using a menu of resources aligned with the quality PDCA Cycle (Plan – Do – Check – Act). It is made up of sector specific resources for you to use and help prepare and assist with your ongoing certification or accreditation requirements. Using onTrack you will be able to monitor your progress against Standards and prepare your systems prior to your formal audit using our fully hosted and 100% confidential range of self audit modules (tools).

How it works

The software is easy to use and accessed at HDANZ’s web-site via a log-in and password. We have developed the onTrack Self Assessment Tools to assist you to review important areas of your quality systems and processes against relevant sector standards and requirements. The tools are provided as a suite of modules that align with the standards which you are seeking to be reviewed or certified/accredited against. After you complete the online module, the system software generates a "gap analysis" in an Action Plan for the areas you have identified for development or corrective action. The Action Plan records tasks, target dates for completion, persons assigned to complete tasks and a note trail of developments. All information in the Action Plan is saved so you can log on and update it.

Large organisations - onTrack Functions and Features

onTrack also includes a specifically designed platform that is securely hosted from HDANZ’s web-site that is set out so that a large organisation (the “parent”) can plan and operate the programme directly with its services. A key feature for the management of multiple sites/services is the ability for the organisation to oversee the progress of its service's action plans via the “dashboard”.
