Learning and Development

We have over five years experience working with different service providers across New Zealand to support their human resource goals.  Each provider has been unique in their philosophy and approach, therefore no two learning and development solutions have been the same.

Many trainees we work with may not have had learning opportunities for some time, may have learning difficulties or just feel like they "have to" come to training.  We create supportive and friendly learning environments that build people's confidence and we are always willing to spend time with people who need that extra bit of support.

Ardent Training & Consultancy strives to exceed agreed outcomes. We demonstrate the high quality work we do by ensuring:

  • evaluations are completed at every learning event
  • feedback from trainees, clients and managers is considered and acted upon
  • we regularly participate in moderation
  • our work will enable you to meet audit requirements for learning and development


Since 2004 we have contracted to a number of organisations in support of a variety of projects ranging from policy development to interim management including service setup for people with high and complex needs as they awaited transition into permanent services.Our team offers a wealth of experience supporting people with disabilities that enables us to collaborate on a wide variety of projects.We also pride ourselves on strong national networks that we draw on to compliment our skills from time to time.

We work collaboratively with other specialist services (GP, Behaviour Support etc), managers and teams to ensure plans are updated to reflect these changes and ensure teams are working well with individuals.A key issue often described by employers is inconsistency amongst staff.
