“The Perfect Summer Red Wine!”
J Lohr Wildflower Valdeguie $12 per Bottle
This is a great new summer red, light and great for those who prefer a red in the warmer weather.
2008 J. Lohr Estates Wildflower Valdiguié
So what’s a Valdiguie? The Valdiguie grape is originally from France where it is now hardly produced. It was once called Napa Gamay as it was similar in style to Gamay. The 2010 is vibrant and red-purple in color with bright aromas of boysenberry, bing cherry, raspberry and pomegranate. It has a bright complexion on the palate with rich texture and low in tannins.
“I’m Into Chardonnay Again!”
J Lohr 2007 Riverstone Chardonnay $14 per Bottle
Like the afternoon sunlight in Camden this wine is somewhere between pale and deep yellow. This wine is an extraordinary value, for the taste, light but not too fruity, a touch of the traditional chard bouquets and buttery flavor, perfect for summer!
-And from New Zealand we have…
“But do you have something for me? I don’t drink Chardonnay and I’m bored with Pinot Grigio?” “Yes!”
Oyster Bay 2008 Sauvignon Blanc $14 per Bottle
It’s bright and light and refreshing. The description from the Winery: Pale straw green in colour with brilliant clarity, Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is zesty and aromatic with lots of lively, penetrating fruit characters. A concentration of tropical and gooseberry flavours with an abundant bouquet, it is a wine that is always crisp, elegant and refreshing.
