AutoCAD 2010

What Today's Designers Want This is the software our customers have asked for. More than 300 of the new or enhanced features began as wish-list items submitted by the worldwide Autodesk® User Group International (AUGI®). The AutoCAD® feature set has always been customer-driven, but this release sets a new standard for customer input-and results.

AutoCAD 2010 addresses five fundamental customer needs: Heads-up Design You'll boost workflow and efficiency through greater task automation, easy access to reusable design data, and minimal reliance on keyboard commands. Features include Multiple Design Environment™, AutoCAD® DesignCenter™, enhanced AutoSnap™ with AutoTrack™, quick dimensioning (QDIM), 3D Orbit, Partial Open, Partial Load, and In-Place Reference Editing.

Improved Access and Usability The software more closely reflects the way you work; its powerful technology is nearly transparent to the design process. And of course it's Windows  2000 , XP and Vista logo compliant. Features include the Properties window and pervasive, context-sensitive shortcut menus.

Streamlined Output Numerous layout and plotting enhancements will help you clearly communicate design intent and make stronger presentations in less time.

Expanded Reach AutoCAD 2010 takes full advantage of the Internet so you can unite extended design teams, securely and cost-effectively share data, and link resources to drawings.

Greater Customization and Extensibility Now virtually anyone can program virtually anything with a choice of robust tools that includes new Visual LISP™ integrated development environment. And its powerful technology framework, with a 3D graphics pipeline and now fully object-oriented, results in the fastest AutoCAD software ever and provides a solid foundation for future development.
