Christchurch earthquake - Bibles In Action

By: Bibles In Action  05-Apr-2012

Christchurch has suffered another devastating earthquake taking lives and affecting many, not only in the Canterbury region but throughout New Zealand.  Our deepest sympathy, hearts and prayers go out to all affected by the Christchurch earthquake.  We here at BiblesinAction are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.  We believe that as Christians we grieve, the same as everyone else.. but with one difference.  We grieve with hope.. hope of a coming Christ! Hope that helps us look ahead.  Let's all support one another, and especially our brothers and sisters in Christchurch.

The Bible gives us clear guidelines:

"If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it.." - 1 Corinthians 12:25

"Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ"  - Galations 6:2

Whole communities have been wiped out and tens of thousands are unaccounted for, presumed dead. The recent earthquake and tsunami that has devastated parts of Japan has shocked us all. It is hard for us to fully comprehend the enormity of the disaster. Your donation will help meet this urgent need for Bibles in Japan.
