Welcome to Beautiful Silks Training Division

We'll teach you everything about making your dream garment..
Except catching and shearing your animal.

Just like a sport training film, you’ll have the advantage of being able to replay any tricky part of the disc to watch pieces of technique until you get them right. And just like a sport training film, these training-on-disc products show real students in real situations, just like the situations you’ll be in. It’s almost as if you were actually at the workshop. They include a “frequently asked questions” portion, and free subscription to Marion’s on-line “Ask Someone Who Knows” forum. If you’re proud of a finished piece of work which you’ve made after using one of the training-on-disc products, you can (subject to jury-vetting) display it in the Gallery on this website.

We also offer do-it-yourself kits with full instructions so that you can learn as you do your project. Our nuno-felting kit, now shipping from our Brisbane warehouse, is featured at left and is now available. Each kit contains 180cm x 60cm hand rolled silk scarf - 100g hand dyed wool tops
Bubble wrap - Wetting cloth - Roller - Felting instructions. Price $49.50.
