At Chadwick and Racecourse Pharmacies we want to provide you with the best service we can. To help us do this our staff are split into 4 teams; Pharmacy Assistants, Dispensing Technicians, Pharmacists and Delivery Assistants.Pharmacy AssistantsIf you visit either Chadwick or Racecourse Pharmacy with a general enquiry one of our Pharmacy Assistants will be available to help you. They can provide practical support when you want to know what's best for treating common ailments; which skin care products to use or which natural healthcare products are best for you. They'll make sure you get the most appropriate solution to your problem and offer sensible advice for looking after you and your family. All our products are set out in easy to understand categories, so you can easily find what you need. Our Pharmacy Assistants are Clare, Cynthia, Diane and Mickey.
Our Dispensing Technicians prepare your prescription and can offer advice on pharmacy medicines. They make sure your prescription is processed correctly and in the most cost effective way for you. They also prepare convenient tablet packs which can make your medication easier to manage. Your prescription will usually be dispensed in around 10 minutes, but please bear in mind that we do have busy times when this is not always possible. If we don't have all the medication in stock that you need, we'll give you as much as we can and then order the rest to arrive the next day, or sometimes later the same day. Our Dispensing Technicians are Desma, Esme, Heather and Sharyn.Pharmacists
Our Pharmacists oversee the dispensing of all medicines and are also on-hand to provide advice on more unusual ailments. They can offer practical help, like putting your tablets into a weekly pack; they can answer questions on whether some medicines can be taken with others and give advice on what’s the best thing to take in your personal circumstance. Our Pharmacists do much more than just check your prescription – they help you get the most out of your medication. Our Pharmacists also offer a FREE service called Medicines Use Review (MUR). An MUR is usually a 45 minute appointment, where the Pharmacist can answer any queries you have about your medication and provide practical support to improve the way you take your medication. Our Pharmacists are Lesley, Mary and Simon.
We also provide a FREE prescription delivery service for people living in Greerton and surrounding suburbs of Tauranga. We deliver to the many retirement villages throughout the local area, every day, Monday to Friday. If you would like your prescription delivered just let us know before 2:30pm to give us time to deliver it that day between 3:00pm and 5:30pm. If you have a regular weekly medication pack you can arrange to have this delivered to your door every week. Our Delivery Assistants are Carena, Ian and Laura.
