Software Freedom Day (SFD) is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) The goal of Software Freedom Day is to educate the worldwide public about the benefits of using high quality FOSS in education, in government, at home, and in business. This will be the second year Tauranga has had its own Software Freedom Day event and we will join over 200 other teams around the world.
