Over half of our inpatient service is dedicated to providing Hospital level care for clients who have been assessed as having very high nursing needs. Often this is a result of disability due to a stroke or other medical or age related condition.

Our nursing team are specialists in providing care to the elderly. They work closely with our contracted doctors to ensure the complex needs of our residents are assessed and managed to achieve the highest possible quality of life.

We have an allied health team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist and Diversional Therapists who support the nursing and medical team.

Within the Althorp environment we aim to create a home like feel. Each of our Hospital level homes has a maximum of 15 residents. Each of our residents has an individual bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. We encourage our residents to personalise their bedroom with familiar furnishings and pictures.
