RCIA Events:
Today, as another step in the journey of faith for our elect and candidates, we celebrate the first of three ‘scrutinies’. The scrutinies are rites that encourage the elect and candidates to self searching and repentance, and have above all a spiritual purpose. The scrutinies are meant to uncover and heal all that is weak or sinful, to bring out, then strengthen all that is upright, strong and good. These rites complete the conversion of the elect and deepen their resolve to follow Christ.
