Two construction workers were fatally crushed to death when a concrete slab collapsed on an Eagle Farm Racecourse site in Brisbane. The two workers were working in a site pit at about 4.00pm on Thursday 6th of October 2016 when the slab fell killing them instantly, witnessed by up to 10 horrified co-workers.
