This program is run in the second week of the holidays on two consecutive afternoons to mimic an after-school play-date. The focus of these afternoons is for the children to practice social skills in a supported environment. Program outline: Day 1 will commence with a 1/2 hour workshop on communication skills and social skills. Then we put this into action with the board or card games while we coach. This will last for approximately an hour, following by pack up and a snack - focusing on hosting, sharing and general chat. Day 2 includes a debrief the day before. Then into game playing - with a shared mini snack at the end plus joint pack up.
