CAREER DIRECTION or CAREER CHANGE (4+ sessions) – We use the Purpose-driven career model to assist you in choosing, or changing to, a successful and purposeful career path. This generally requires a 4-step approach (depending on how far along you are already): (1) We help you pinpoint what career factors are most important for you by exploring your interests, values, skills, motivations, personality style and other influences. This is done using assessments (online and in-session) and focussed discussions. (2) Next, we identify a range of occupations & options that may be fulfilling for you based on the Work-Interests assessment and the MBTI personality assessment. This includes providing you careers advice about occupations and industry sectors. (3) We can then assist you to decide which of the options you are most likely to succeed in and find purposeful. (4) Lastly, we work with you to develop an action plan to clarify your path to actualizing your goals. CAREER COUNSELLING (1+ sessions) – Sometimes it is important to be able to talk-through issues that you may be having with your current career or workplace with someone having an objective viewpoint. Counselling may provide you with useful careers advice or new perspectives on the issue. If you are not looking at changing career, and just want to be happier in the job you are in, you may benefit from stress-management or psychological resilience training to increase your job satisfaction. JOB SEARCH OPTIMISATION (1 to 2 sessions) – If you are between jobs and looking for work, we can assist you to identify and create job opportunities, optimise use of your network and explore occupational options outside of the box. If you are new to NZ or Auckland we can give you an overview of the employment market and help you get the job you are looking for. JOB INTERVIEW TRAINING (1 to 2 sessions) – if would like further training on presenting yourself well, even a single coaching session could help you considerably. We train you in interview preparation, answering open/behavioural questions, and closing the interview. Interview role-play can greatly assist in confidence building CV OPTIMISATION (1 session) – If you are looking to improve your CV or cover-letters, we are experts at helping craft documents with high impact and focus. We help you build a ‘personal brand’ and advise you how to focus your CV to market your skills and experience in the best possible way. We also consult on LinkedIn profile building and other online employment tools.
