Vadacom and Brash Technology agreed to merge into one entity, and are trading as Vadacom Limited, effective 1 August 2008.

Brash Technology team was operating as deVOX for 6 years prior to changing its name to Brash Technology in 2007.

Vadacom was established in 2005 with the purpose of creating the first commercial Asterisk PBX based system in New Zealand - VadaXchange.

The combined Vadacom Limited brings together the best of New Zealand's telephony experience with the best of New Zealand's open source VoIP and Linux based technologies expertise.

The new company will have 15 people, presence in Auckland and Wellington and over 350 clients across a wide range of industries.

To the existing Vadacom and Brash Technology clients that marks a real milestone. With the wealth of combigned experience we are confident we can deliver better service and a wider variety of products and services.

Vadacom will keep working with the existing channel partners, and our promise to not compete with our certified resellers does not change. However, considering the current economic climate, our sales and marketing approach will include direct sales.
