Dear New Zealand partners,

Please be advised that as of Monday 18th July 2011, TelstraClear have disconnected the TBN channel (113) from their cable network.

Because all TBN operations in the South Pacific are now run by the TBN Australia entity, we've had to consolidate all our contractual obligations under this single entity. Despite attempts on our behalf to prevent disruptions to the service, TelstraClear have yet not been forthcoming in negotiating a new contract.

We appeal to all out New Zealand partners that have been inconvenienced by this decision to lodge a formal complaint to TelstaClear by calling 0508 888 800.

We deeply apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you. We will keep you updated on the progress of this issue.

You may have noticed recently that we have aired some infomercials on TBN for the Perth4Jesus Evangelistic Rally which is back again this year, except this time it will be aired exclusively on TBN later in October. If you would like to see a particular ministry on TBN or know of a special upcoming event, please contact our office with your request.

Van Impe ministry abandons TBN

Although I understand, and actually agree with, your position that you 'will not allow anyone to tell me what I can and cannot preach,' I trust you understand that TBN takes the same position with its broadcast air time as well," Crouch wrote in a letter to Van Impe.

We will initially air programming from ministry partners around the Pacific, and in God’s timing, later diversify into TBN produced content as funding becomes available. The scriptures tell us “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” Phil 4:6.
