Looking for costumes for a movie or play? Invited to a fancy dress party but don't have a thing to wear? Need a tuxedo for a school ball? A crinoline, top hat or fur coat? Whether you are seeking one costume for a private function or all our 1950s items for a big film shoot, we'd love to hear from you.

Howick Little Theatre hires costumes to the following:

The subjects of these weekend workshops have included acting, directing, vocal techniques, Shakespeare, lighting design and set design, and fees have been kept very affordable thanks to support from Creative Communities NZ/Manukau City Council.


Venue Hire » Howick Little Theatre

Looking for somewhere to hold small business conferences, wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations or birthday parties, Howick Little Theatre's two function rooms are available for hire. The 110-seat theatre is available in three seating configurations (the "L" plan, the traditional proscenium arch, and the thrust stage – not pictured). The 110-seat flexiform theatre is also available for limited use. Lots of free and easy parking.


Drama Classes » Howick Little Theatre

Students will be encouraged to free their imaginations and explore the notion of play as a creative tool while also learning to trust their abilities to communicate through physical expression. In-class presentations are staged during the year and there will also be an opportunity to share work with friends and family later in the year.
