"Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director"
Following the announced resignations of the Board’s two New Zealand Directors, and pursuant to NZAX Listing Rule 3.2.1 which requires at least two Directors to be ordinarily resident in New Zealand, the RIS Group Board is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Mr. Craige Mayo as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Mr. Mayo has held numerous executive appointments serving on several boards in both Executive and Non-Executive capacities within property, banking and professional consulting ranging from start-up to NZD$100m turnover. Having a broad career spanning almost two and a half decades, he has acted for numerous clients on assignments involving complex business projects, major company growth, change management, strategy and leadership roles.
Mr. Mayo has extensive experience in transactional banking, where he has been involved with a private offshore bank licenced by MasterCard International for the issuing of debit cards globally. His consultancy services offered with the bank to mutual clients range from: private accounts, card products, transactional banking and corporate payroll, escrow services, gold, forex, tailored investments, offshore companies and offshore trusts.
His experience further covers IT Development, Project and Database Management,, Finance, Banking, Legal, and Customer Service / Contact Desk Management. He was involved with issuing thousands of accounts trading across 220 countries at a time when debit cards were making banking history globally and today have reshaped the way people access their bank accounts and receive rewards worldwide.
These skills and experience, with a detailed understanding of business underpinned by a sophisticated technology platform and the need to target a demanding customer, makes Mr. Mayo a valuable addition to the RIS Group Board.
