Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes Rouge 2009
The fruit for this is coming off a 4.6ha plot, there's 20,000 bottles produced. It is quite simply delicious, rich, round and fruit driven, if you've not tried Burgundy before and love Pinot Noir, this would be a great place to start. It has excellent fruit more towards the plum spectrum of flavours than cherry. Ridiculously good value, Nicolas does suggest you open this and give it a little air 2 hours or so.
