Our specialised service means we actively support these employees in the workplace to ensure they have additional support to cater for their disability, and ensuring the employer gets the best from their employee. From lawyers to computer technicians, from machine operators to shop assistants, people with disabilities represent a highly motivated, willing and capable pool of talent.

Depending on your goals and skills, you might decide to try one or more of the following options: unpaid work sampling or work experience, paid employment, training, tertiary study or voluntary work. During your last year at school, one of our Transition Specialists will help you develop a Transition Plan and discuss your options. We work with both ORRS funded and non-ORRS funded special needs students aged 16 to 21 in the last year of school.

There is no 'one size fits all' programme, each client is worked with to see what their life goals are, and we begin working with realistic short to medium term goals. Our clients vary from students who are physically disabled and attending tertiary studies, to those with intellectual disabilities who want to learn more life skills. We also specialise in Deaf VHN as we employ a NZSL interpreter, have staff who sign and we have a deaf employee.
