Stabilising roads has been a practice since the Romans built roads 2000 years ago. This traditional technology still uses chemicals, cement and lime to break down or bond with soil/aggregate in order to reduce the moisture penetration and strengthen the road base.
New technologies today provide far more environmentally friendly options  such as anionic or ionic polymer stabilization. These technologies improve the efficient use of resources, social impact and pollution. Using  science and the existing in-situ soil it is now possible to create a long-lasting, high performing road base, without the expense of trucking in tons of aggregate. Sub grade soils that would normally be discarded can now also be used for road construction.

For public roads  an environmentally friendly and unobtrusive way to create a durable, sustainable base layer in preparation for the wearing coarse (bitumen or tar seal. Our products are suitable in the construction of high-performing durable roads and to achieve the high standard of testing results that are required by councils and construction companies.  When building roads by traditional  methods, there is a large requirement for crushed quarry products which is a finite resource. The actual cost of using that finite resource should be considered more carefully.  The use of our stabilization technologies on specific public road applications can reduce the cost and impact on that finite resource.

Our products are environmentally friendly, they allow roads to be constructed quicker, and they are often much cheaper relative to other methods.  The products provide a fast, sustainable, green, and cost effective solution for forest roads and landings. The products used are non-toxic and environmentally friendly and the finished roads suffer from significantly less run-off than other roads, further benefiting the environment. Roads can be constructed and stabilised much faster than other methods and roading can be done nearer to the time of use, which both increases operational flexibility and reduces costs. Aggregate use can be significantly reduced, or even eliminated in some circumstances, which represents a very significant cost saving in most forest operations. Forest owners can design the treatment to meet specific lifespan requirements thus optimizing spending on construction and maintenance.

This single product solution can be applied to your soil surface in a quick and cost efficient manner. Achieve the same performance as aggregate and lime,  reducing the effects of leach-ate into the environment. Our products provide a firm base layer for farm races and with a specialized capping on top are highly suitable for dairy farms. Farm races should be constructed with a solid base, followed by a layer of smaller metal and topped with fines like crusher  dust or pea sand. The ultimate race capping surface is pumice or sand. The biggest problem area when using aggregates  close to the shed, is that stones can get dragged onto the concrete causing lameness. A capping of crusher dust can be used  to stand up to the heavier pressure and you can use sand further away. Brittle material such as rotten rock can also be used as a capping on top of our product,  in the lead-up to the yard. Careful design of races during farm development will mean less maintenance in the long term. Our products can also provide a durable and long lasting road surface for transport of milk in 40 ton container trucks.


These products are easily applicated in confined spaces and due to the speed of application, a car park 60m x 100m can be built in one day. This can be opened to traffic immediately, as it aids the compaction process. Depending on axle loads and the amount of traffic, the depth of the application is adjusted to provide a durable, long lasting base layer for a car park. This can then be sealed to provide a wearing coarse for traffic. This product is suitable for truck loading bays and truck depots, providing a strong durable base layer.

Due to the speed of application and that the formulation can be easily scaled down to smaller quantities, these products are ideal for driveway applications. With use of a Bobcat, which is extremely maneuverable and efficient in confined spaces, driveways can be done effectively in a short period of time . This provides a durable driveway, more environmentally friendly at a cost effective price.


Our products can be used effectively on light aircraft runways or other high-use applications, providing  a strong and durable base layer. Grass runways and other natural surfaces are not durable and cause damage to fuselages and engines, increasing maintenance costs. Depending on the sizes of the aircraft landing on a runway, the depth of application can be increased on landing spots to provide extra strength and durability on impact. Ideal for landing strips in remote locations and provides substantial cost savings compared to tar runways, which are cost prohibitive.

D150 - Stabilizer

The Polysoil D150 product is a revolutionary product that has been well tested and transforms the way roads are constructed.  This product is a polymer binding agent that comes in liquid form that when applied to in-situ soil, aggregate or other porous base materials it will encapsulate and bind the material together.  
It forms a durable and flexible base layer, preventing further water penetration,  providing a reduction in potholes and maintenance. Vehicles can drive onto this surface directly which aids the mechanical compaction process or this base layer can be sealed with a clear or traditional seal.
It is supplied in 1,000 litre mini bulk containers which can be easily handled on site.  A 1km section of road 6m wide, would require approximately 9,000 litres to mix in with the in-situ soil and create a stabilized base layer.
This product is an advanced Polymer technology which has been developed over  time and improved through aggressive research. The additives that make up Polysoil D150 product are the perfect monomer blend to ensure water retention, durability and flexibility.
Under mechanical compaction the chains of Polysoil molecules interlock, forming a cross-linked molecular structure. When compaction over a longer  time takes place the road gets stronger due to the product migrating downwards creating a sub base. If the road is ripped and compacted to 150mm the downward migration ensures a base course of 300mm.
Polysoil D150 uses science and the existing in-situ soil  to create a long-lasting, high performing road base. Polysoil D150 exceeds the road industry requirements for UCS and CBR.

D200 - Stabilizer

D200 is an environmentally safe road stabilization product.  It has been developed to improve the engineering qualities of in-situ soil and gravels. Many pavement materials are sub-standard, therefore the need for importing higher quality cost prohibitive materials or aggregates, which may not always be available, to improve the quality of the soil before building a road.  D200 provides an economical and efficient solution to this problem.
Nearly all fine grained soil exists in a state of partial aggregation, some of the fines are held together in aggregates by electrochemical forces. D200 permanently alters the surface characteristics of the soil particles, causing the particles to repel each other . This allows for improved particle realignment on compaction, resulting in a more tightly bound and denser soil structure. Maximum compaction  increases strength, reduces compressibility and permeability. D200 tightens and binds road material while providing a flexible base layer which prevents further water penetration and thus  a reduction in potholes and maintenance. Vehicles can drive onto this surface directly or this base layer can be sealed with a clear or traditional seal.
It is supplied in following container sizes - 5 litre (sampling); 25 litre ;  200 litre drum; 4 drums 800 litres on pallet & 1000 litre mini bulk container, caged on a pallet.  A 1km section of road 6m wide, would require approximately 270  litres of concentrate, diluted with water to mix in with the in-situ soil and create a stabilized base layer.

D50 - Dust Stabilizer

D50 is an environmentally friendly stabilizer that  acts effectively as a dust suppressant. This product provides an efficient and cost effective solution for un sealed roads with varios benefits such as reduction of dust for a minimum of 3 months, reduction in potholes.

D50 is a multiple-component polymer based ionic stabilizer containing an additive to promote permeability, this product also has hydroscopic properties that will draw water from the atmosphere, this moisture keeps the road surface moist thus keeping the dust particles heavy and reduces gravel loss. The ionic compound is a highly charged material containing both positive and negative charges. When this material comes into contact with clay the positive charges attach to the hydrogen molecules and the negative charges attach to the oxygen molecules of  the H2O thus eliminating the water in the clay allowing improved compaction by normal vehicular traffic. Additives that promote permeability allow D50 to permeate into the road and provide a stabilized layer of 50mm on the road thus reducing dust, ruts and potholes.

P100 - Pothole repair

P100 is an environmentally friendly pothole repair product. This product provides an efficient and cost effective solution  for pothole repairs with several benefits such as durability and the ability to bind with existing materials. P100 is a multiple-component, polymer based, Ionic stabilizer containing a bitumen binder additive and an additive to promote permeability. The Ionic compound is a highly charged material containing both positive and negative charges. When this material comes into contact with clay and water the positive charges attach to the negative Oxygen molecule and the negative charges attach to the positive Hydrogen molecules of the H2O thus dispersing the water and allowing improved compaction.The additive that promotes permeability allows P100 to permeate into the surrounding road and provides a strong bond. The bitumen provides the binding component which holds the material together while traffic passes, until it is compacted into the road. Once the aggregate material is fully compacted it effectively becomes part of the road.

P100 has been designed to be mixed with a highly prescribed aggregate material, including clay and fines to achieve the perfect blend and result.
