Building projects typically have a notorious reputation for going wrong. As they say “if you’re failing to plan, you’re planning to fail.”

That's not how it happens at Licensed Renovations.

We’ve developed our own strategic project management process, outlined below. Based upon the core principles of superior planning and communication, you’ll always know what’s happening when, every step of the way.

Strategically Plan.

We’ve conducted a complete review of your consented plans relative to the original quotation and scope. From this we have developed your full project schedule with key milestones and timeframes. All sub trades and suppliers, have been booked (as appropriate) ensuring smooth and timely project management.

Consult.

Throughout your project, your primary point of contact is your Site Manager, and along with your Project Manager, they will conduct weekly site meetings with yourself – updating and discussing your project.Additional project management meetings will occur where your Project Manager and Site Manager meet and plan, coordinate and manage your renovation. Throughout your renovation your Project Manager will liaise with you regarding your item preferences and your project in it's entirety.

Execute.

At the start of your renovation, (within two weeks) we will provide you your project timetable of what will be happening when, and confirm your finish date.We build using best practice building methodologies, and manage this with our This includes our work in process quality control system, and (peer reviewed) site mystery shopping.

Change.

At some stage during your renovation there may be a requirement to change (due to unknown circumstances) or you may wish to make changes to the scope of works. If there is a variation required to the original scope, it will be managed by your Site Manager or Project Manager. After taking your brief (of changes required) our Quantity Surveying team will quote your requirements, and dependent on the complexity your quote, it will be ready for your review within 12 working days (for large and complex variations, but typically it's within a few days) of taking the brief. Any variation will typically extend the timeframe of the project. We would then request that you respond (confirm) the variation within two days, as further delays will affect your project timetable. No additional work will be undertaken without your consent.

Deliver.

Your project on time as per the timetable (updated including variations or weather delays).Your project on budget as per the contract and agreed scope of works (variations additional). We’ll provide all producers’ statements and relevant documentation for you to complete the Code of Compliance.
