The Casa Latina has extensive contacts with the Spanish community and Latin American businesses and restaurants in Auckland and companies wanting to hire working holiday visitors to New Zealand. Many members have found full time and rewarding jobs through us, some gaining residency and are working towards citizenship.
The Hispanic Club and Latin Rhythm Dance School our partners are one of the largest hirers of Latinos in Auckland, at any one time there are 10 staff working fulltime and part-time teaching kiwis about our culture. They provide training and jobs teaching Spanish, Salsa, tango and Zumba latin fitness. They sucessfully brought Zumba to Auckland and the North Island of New Zealand in 2009.
Spanish Teacher (Auckland) - 7.10.2010
The Hispanic Club needs an experienced Spanish teacher to start immediately next week to teach evening classes for adults. The sucessful candidate will be a native speaker from South America or Spain and hold a degree in teaching plus have at least a years experience in teaching english or spanish to adults.
Zumba Instructor (Auckland) - 8.10.2010
Auckland Zumba School needs an experienced Zumba instructor for work 5 days a week from January 2011. Ideally you would be certified, if not willing to get certified immediately. Some training is provided for free. We are looking for Latinos with latin dance and fitness experience and or qualifications. A good level of english and fitness required and having a car is a plus.
