ENT « Bio Serve

In general, the advantage of APC in ENT lies in the ability to carry out rapid, effective and safe coagulation, including larger surface areas – homogenous hemostasis. THe pentration depth is controllable and can be carefully adjusted, particular with the new modes of PULSED APC, FORCED APC and PRECISE APC, which offer a range from superficial to deep coagulation. The perforation risk is largely excluded. Applications can be carried out axially, laterally or radially. Identified pathology can be safely devitalised with APC. Large tissue anomalies which may lead to stenoses can be immediately reduced.

APC « Bio Serve

The risk of the probe tip sticking to tissue with subsequent tearing of the coagulated vessels is distinctly reduced. APC is a non-contact procedure with minimal vaporisation and carbonisation, which offers good wound healing. APC is easier to handle compared to laser procedures and does not require extensive safety measures. Rapid and effective coagulation/devitalisation including larger surfaces.
