Asset Link Property Group Ltd’s primary mission is to introduce investors to property opportunities sourced by the selling of their existing stock to other investors and from a variety of developers, both existing builds and off the plan developments, all geared towards long term capital growth.
New Zealand’s property investment infrastructure is quite unique internationally, in that we do not retain many of the impediments that restrict property investment, stifling investor interest in their property portfolio development.
For example, New Zealand currently:-
- No capital gains tax
- No stamp duty
- No sales tax
- Stable government and growing economy
- Favourable foreign exchange rate
- Interest rates remain at a low level
- No land tax
- Depreciation can be claimed on chattels
What happens when you contact us?
We will discuss with you what your objectives are and what you are hoping to achieve, both short and long term. We will extend the discussion into your financial position (if appropriate) and will either offer you a strategic plan to meet your objectives or if you are a seasoned investor then will discuss the property opportunities currently available.
Our extended team comprising legal, accounting valuation and property management are all available on hand for immediate professional advice, much available free of charge for initial consultations.
Which property should I buy?
As we continually remind many of our clients, it’s not all about the property, but more about the numbers!
Spending time getting the numbers right (based on your personal financial profile) and based on a particular property in your price range, largely negates any need to spend too much time reviewing the property itself.
Sure, location, age, quality of build and presentation are all important, particularly location if you wish to have the property close to your own address, but essentially, if the numbers are right, the money (and property) should look after themselves.
Working with our specialist team, we can ensure that the best structure is implemented from the very beginning, to ensure that you maximise every dollar from your investment.
This includes being mindful of
- Tax Issues
- Mortgage interest rates and careful selection of lenders (we currently have lenders who are still offering 5% deposits on selected properties)
- Positive or Negative gearing
- Having the property managed by a professional property management company.
- And finally the important one – enjoying the capital growth.
Ensuring that the structure is set correctly largely removes any involvement from your perspective, your life remains hassle free, and frees your time to be actively involved in selecting your next investment opportunity.
