Beclazone 50 Inhalers are metered dose aerosol inhalers which deliver 50mcg of beclometasone dipropionate per ‘puff’.

Your doctor may give you Beclazone™ to help prevent asthma. Beclazone works by reducing inflammation (swelling and irritation) in the small airways in your lungs. This helps you to breathe easier and helps to prevent asthma attacks.

This kind of medicine is known as a ‘Preventer’, and must be used everyday as directed by your doctor even if you have no asthma symptoms. You will probably also have a ‘Reliever’ inhaler, for relief of asthma attacks and breathlessness.

Beclazone™ is only available on a doctor’s prescription.

Beclazone™ 50 Inhaler, Beclazone™ 100 Inhaler, and Beclazone™ 250 Inhaler, contain beclometasone dipropionate 50mcg, 100mcg and 250mcg per metered dose. Also contains Oleic Acid, Trichlorofluoromethane (CFC-11), Dichlorofluoromethane (CFC-12). 200 metered doses. Beclometasone dipropionate provides anti-inflammatory action in your lungs and offers preventive background treatment for mild, moderate, and severe asthma. Check with your doctor that Beclazone is right for you. Precautions: Use strictly as directed. Not for relief of acute attack. Your doctor may need to adjust your dose from time-to-time depending on the severity of your asthma. Do not stop using your inhaler without your doctor’s advice. Do not use if you are allergic to Beclometasone dipropionate or any of the inhaler components. Side effects may include candidiasis (thrush infection) of mouth and throat, hoarseness, throat irritation. See your doctor if you have side effects. Prescription Medicine. This medicine is fully funded on prescription. Normal doctor’s visit fees and pharmacy charges will apply. See your doctor or pharmacist for further information. Made in Ireland. Beclazone™ is a trade-mark.
