AgriRisk knows cotton hail insurance better than any other broker and has been servicing the cotton industry for almost 20 years. In the early 1980s, AgriRisk introduced the first industry based cotton hail insurance scheme and has been part of this dynamic industry ever since.
In this climate of rising production costs and low commodity prices, good risk management becomes even more important. AgriRisk believes that structuring appropriate insurance for your cotton enterprise, that will provide adequate insurance cover to keep you in business, is far more important than taking a cheaper option that could let you down in the event of a loss.
What Does Cotton Crop Insurance Cover?
- Reduction in your crop's potential yield as a direct consequence of hail or fire
- Sums insured can be structured to indemnify you for the loss of your production costs right through to full revenue cover
- Options such as Seed Cotton Insurance (modules standing in the field and in transit to the gin) and quality downgrades caused by hail or rain can be included in your cover
- If you have other specific requirements, AgriRisk may be able to tailor or design a suitable product
How Do I Get Cotton Crop Insurance?
AgriRisk does not believe in providing clients with 'off the shelf' insurance products that may not be appropriate to the individual business. Instead, you will be appointed an Account Manager to be your main point of contact. Experienced staff will work with you to structure a policy that suits the specific needs of your business and will do this in person, if you'd prefer.
